Xiaomi Redmi 8A is the company’s latest smartphone launched under the redmi series. The handset comes with a tagline ‘Smart Desh ka Dumdaar smartphone’. The smartphone comes with a starting price of Rs 6,499. 
On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Redmi 8A has a 6.22-inch Dot notch display. The phones comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.




The smartphone comes with a new design called the Aura wave grip design. 
Redmi 8A boasts of an 8MP AI selfie camera with AI portrait and AI face unlock technology. Xiaomi says that the Aura pattern looks stylish while giving the perfect grip and guarding against fingerprint marks.
The smartphone comes powered by 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor. This comes coupled with 32GB internal storage with 2GB and 3GB of RAM. The handset comes with a microSD card storage to expand the storage further by up to 512GB.

Xiaomi Redmi 8A comes in three colour options - Sunset Red, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black. The device is backed by 5000mAh battery with 18watt fast charge support. The handset comes equipped with Type-C charging port. Users will also get a 12MP AI primary camera with Sony IMX 363 sensor and f/1.8 aperture at the back.
